Beatrice Campus
SCC-Beatrice
is located in Gage County in southeast Nebraska and
enrolls over 900 students on a beautiful semi-rural campus.
The campus offers the Academic Transfer program providing
first and second year college courses for students who wish
to transfer credits to a four-year college. Technical/career
programs include an outstanding Agricultural Business and
Management program which has a model land and animal
laboratory. Also included are excellent programs in Nebraska
Law Enforcement, Business, Mass Media, and Practical
Nursing. The College radio station, KQIQ (89.3 FM) is
staffed and managed by students in the Mass Media program.
The Beatrice community benefits from
Continuing Education classes that educate individuals in
recreation and hobbies as well as provide training for those
seeking job advancement or career changes. SCC-Beatrice
Continuing Education also offers some seminars of national
interest in cooperation with the Homestead National
Monument, Inc.
